HaOgen for Reservist Families receives prestigious Presidential Award for Volunteering!

In an exciting ceremony on the grass of the President’s Residence, HaOgen for Reservist Families received the Presidential Award for Volunteering. This recognition is for our 20,000 volunteers, our city coordinators and our regional coordinators, and our staff. Congrats!

CEO and Founder Rachel Azaria receives award from the President of Israel

On Sept. 1, 2025, the President of Israel awarded HaOgen for Reservist Families and to 19 other organizations and individuals this special prize. For us, this was a moving acknowledgment of our work, as we continue to support 35,000 families in 800 cities and towns throughout the country for almost two years.

All our volunteers do what they can to help, and together we form a human safety net that supports, embraces, and strengthens the families who do so much for us all.
