We kicked off the event on Friday with one simple question: what is the monetary value of the resilience we have created since the beginning of the war? The answer made us all hold our breath - 2.1 billion NIS. But this number is far beyond statistics. These are hours in which families were given a breath of fresh air. This is volunteerism that has a deep meaning, one that reminds the families of the reservists that their effort is greater than all of us, and that an entire community stands behind them. And that, ultimately, is what creates resilience.

In CEO Rachel Azaria's words: "When I stood in front of the audience at the event and saw everyone - the laundry folders, the movers, the cooks, the handymen, the child care workers, the community managers, the packers, the regional managers, our partners and associates - I realized again how broad, alive and breathing this work is. The hall was full of volunteers and volunteers who come every day to do good, from all corners of the country."
Merav Leshem Gonen moved and inspired us all with her speech. In one simple moment, she shared that everyone here is so beautiful—and the response was immediate. "It's not an external appearance. It's inner beauty. The beauty of a community. The beauty of people who choose to be there for each other, to do good together. The Ogen community for reserve families is made up of amazing men and women—full of compassion, love, and giving. Those who fill their hearts with hope, optimism, and faith that there is a better future here—and that we are building it together."

We closed the event with a stunning and exciting performance by Revita Witelson Jacobs together with Liron Lev, at a "Cass Party" that managed to touch us all and make us laugh, move us, and most importantly tofill us with more strength to continue on our path. Because there is still much to build.

Perhaps the most important thing we took away from this day is a small change in words—but big in meaning. From now on, we won't just say "I fold laundry for enlisted families."
Or "I deliver meals" or "I manage a community". We say: I am building a community. I am creating resilience. I am building the reformed future of the State of Israel.
At HaOgen for Reservist Families, there are over 23,000 volunteers, who do good together every day. Together, we have built one large community that creates true Israeli resilience. We have come to cherish, support, embrace and recharge with energy for the rest of the journey. Deep appreciation and recognition also goes to our partners and supporters, who believe in our vision, walk hand in hand with us and enable all this extensive work to be realized. This partnership is the engine behind the resilience that we are building together.
